A Day with Palmer

Scottie was searching for someone to battle with when [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] found Palmer and Regigigas.

Ohh, hello there, Scottie! Did you come here to battle as well?

I myself have been battling nonstop since this morning!

But of course! So much that I don't even notice the time passing!

That's right! I got so wrapped up in it, I didn't even notice the time passing!

Back at the Battle Tower, I was there to face challengers...

but here on Pasio, I'm just another Trainer!

I simply can't tell you how much fun I've been having battling as a challenger myself!

And I'm really grateful to Regigigas too, for sticking with me through all this.

Regigigas is a really reliable partner...and it's extremely powerful!

So powerful that legend tells of it towing whole continents with ropes in ancient times.

Because of that, at first I thought the two of us could overcome all of Pasio's sync pairs put together...

But it's clearly not going to be that easy. This place is jam-packed with strong opponents!

So I figured that for the time being, Regigigas and I could train here on Pasio to become even more powerful!

And now that you're here... Well, it must be some sort of sign, wouldn't you say?

And when two Trainers meet, you know what happens next!

You know, once you're an adult, it's a lot harder to keep up the habit of battling any Trainer whose eyes you meet.

But I'm trying to remember the way I felt back when I was a kid!

Oh, but...wait a second!

Ahh! Oh no! I'm supposed to meet up with my son in just a bit!

I guess I got so wrapped up in our conversation that I totally forgot!

Yeah, that's right! I hear you've become friends with him, too!

Yes, he's a Trainer named Barry...

Oh, really? It's nice to hear you two get along!

It sure makes me proud as a parent to see how strong and confident he's grown through his adventures outside of Sinnoh...

But I still can't help worrying about him a bit!

He just can't seem to stay still for a moment, you see... I wonder who he takes after...

Hm? What are you looking at me like that for?

You think Barry and I are similar? You mean because we're both so strong and confident...?
