A Day with Selene

Scottie found Selene in town, who seemed to be deep in thought about something...

Hmm...

Oh, it's Scottie! Alola!

I was so caught up in my thoughts, I didn't see you there!

I was thinking about how I could become better friends with Nihilego.

Nihilego is a Pokémon from another world called Ultra Space.

It's a little different from the Pokémon we're used to seeing.

That's why I wanna get closer with Nihilego on its own terms!

So I've just been thinking about how I could do that!

Uh-huh! We're gonna take our friendship to new levels, there's no limit to how strong our bond can get!

Ahaha. Well...I'm kinda struggling a bit.

Lately, I've been trying to come up with a greeting that Nihilego would understand!

I thought something like "Ultra!" might be a good Ultra Spacey way to greet it...

But it didn't work...and I've tried so many different ones, too.

If we had our own way of greeting each other every day, I'm sure we'd get closer!

When I moved to Alola, I was able to connect with the locals because we'd all greet each other with a hearty "Alola!"

Anyway, there's a lot I don't quite get about Nihilego...

but I feel like it's starting to open up to me, little by little!

Isn't it super exciting to think about Pokémon like this?

It's like going on an adventure! It's so exciting to slowly understand something you didn't quite get at first!

Where's the fun if you have everything figured out from the start, right?

So I wanna become even better friends with Nihilego using all kinds of ways, not just a greeting!
