Most people who see it for the first time are startled and think it's a moving wall, but it's my trusty partner Pokémon!

Stakataka is an Ultra Beast, a Pokémon that came here from another world.

It has a unique appearance, but there are tons of mysteries about it as an organism beyond its looks.

At first, I was worried about forming a sync pair with Stakataka.

I didn't wanna cause it any trouble, and I was concerned about my lack of knowledge holding it back from showing its true strengths.

Looking at Guzma, Jasmine, and Liza on Pasio, though...

They all befriended their Ultra Beasts in their own unique ways.

I realized something after I saw them go through that.

When you wanna befriend someone for the first time, it doesn't matter if they're a person, Ultra Beast, or Pokémon.

You won't get anywhere if you don't take the first step! Same thing as when I started my journey in Alola.

Don't worry about the things you're unsure of, just learn as you go!

What's important is you challenge yourself to everything at full power!

I thought I'd gained enough courage to face the unknown after I did the island challenge...

but being here on Pasio has taught me that it might be too soon for me to say I'm fully confident in myself.

So, with all that said, after Stakataka and I became friends, I learned a few things that are definitely true...

It's super strong, and I can always count on it!
