A Day with Gloria

One day, Scottie decided to head to the forest to do some training.

As [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] walked the familiar path, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] felt a strange presence unlike anything [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he'd" F="she'd" ] encountered there before.

Then, out of nowhere...

a mysterious Pokémon appeared!

Go! Pikachu!

[EN:Gen Ref="255" M="He" F="She" ] glanced around, searching for the Pokémon's Trainer, but it appeared to be alone.

Strangely, Pikachu's attack seemed to have no effect on it whatsoever!

Scottie tried to retreat slowly, but something strange held [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="him" F="her" ] in place!

The mysterious Pokémon's gaze was fixed on Scottie...

That's enough, Zacian!

*pant pant* Gosh, so sorry if my partner Pokémon scared you!

It just up and ran off all of a sudden!

Maybe it realized you were here and wanted to come say hello?

Or maybe this forest reminded it of the Slumbering Weald, and it ran off in a rush of nostalgia...

It's a forest in the Galar region. It's where I first encountered Zacian!

Yeah! The Slumbering Weald is actually where I first encountered Zacian.

When I saw it there in the fog that first time, it had this sort of poised, dignified air about it...

From that moment on, I dreamed of being able to go on adventures with Zacian one day.

But as I traveled around the Galar region and learned more and more about Zacian...

I realized that what I really wanted was to battle alongside it! My new dream grew stronger and stronger with each day.

It pushed me to work hard and become a Trainer worthy of being Zacian's partner.

I feel as if maybe that's the reason it appeared before me again.

What do you think, Zacian? Did I prove myself worthy in the end?

Maybe you really were the reason Zacian ran off a minute ago.

That's how it all started with me, too.

Maybe Zacian just likes to appear before Trainers it takes an interest in.
