A Day with Grusha

Scottie was at the glaciers when [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] came across a Trainer and a Pokémon looking up at the sky.

Brrrrrr... I'm freezing...

Oh? Is that you, Scottie?

Why'd you come all the way to such a cold place?

Adventure? There are so many other places you could go for that, though...

This isn't really a place where you can just pass by... You're kinda strange, huh?

...Oh, me? I have an actual reason to be here.

This place is perfect for helping Cetitan get used to Pasio.

I need him to adapt to the environment here little by little, you know?

Plus, it'll give us an advantage if it snows.

That's why I was looking up at the sky, to see if snow's on the way.

As you can see, there's not so much as a flake falling, but Cetitan still seems to be having fun.

He's always like this.

No matter what kind of environment or situation he's in, my Cetitan accepts it and always seems to have fun.

Like those times when he was by my side while I snowboarded...

and when he joined me in battle as I faced challengers in my role as Gym Leader.

And now, we're about to take on team battles on Pasio...

He's never changed and has always been by my side. Now that I think about it, that could be what's gotten me through everything.

Sorry, didn't mean to bring the temperature down.

I think Cetitan enjoys change.

I heard Cetoddle, the Pokémon that evolve into Cetitan, left the ocean and began living on land a very long time ago...

How strange that they went out of their way to do that, and even chose to live in snowy mountains where the environment is harsh.

Maybe they had their reasons...

Just like me...

*sigh*

I keep saying uncool things when I talk to you.

So...let's stop chatting and get moving.

Straight to the point, eh?

Were you waiting to battle us?

Sorry to say this, but there's no guarantee that you'll warm up by battling us.

In fact, you might find your mind and body both starting to freeze up.

Well, let's get started.

We'll bring the deep freeze and make sure our power chills you to the bone!
