A Day with Sygna Suit Mina

Scottie saw Mina and Misty having a chat.

We were talking about the oceans around Pasio!

Pasio's oceans are so beautiful, I come here to swim almost every day!

Back in Kanto, I used to go to swimming in the sea near Vermilion City.

Sometimes you just wanna jump out of the confines of a pool and swim in the vast, open sea!

I really like the color of the sea in Kanto!

But I think what I like best are the colors of the ocean back home on Poni Island.

There's a lot of stories about the ocean around Poni.

Well...

OK, I've got a good story to share.

There once was a little girl who lived on Poni Island.

The ocean around Poni is beautiful, but it also has a lot of dangerous spots.

The adults always tell children not to go out to the ocean alone.

But...that girl loved the ocean.

She didn't listen to those warnings, and she started sneaking out to visit the ocean.

One day, she went near a rough coastline that was dangerous even for adults.

The little girl got caught up in watching the waves crashing, creating pillars of ocean spray...

And she accidentally slipped and fell in.

She panicked and struggled to stay afloat in the rough waters...

But she soon ran out of breath and was done for!

...Or so she thought. But then she felt a presence.

What a relief! Someone came to her rescue?

Yup! And the one who saved that little girl was Tapu Fini, Poni Island's guardian deity!

Later, the little girl was found unconscious on the shore.

She got scolded big time by the Island Kahuna and both her parents.

Everyone must've been worried. I'm glad she was OK.

I'm sure Tapu Fini was also trying to teach her the hard way that the ocean is dangerous.

That little girl never forgot that Tapu Fini rescued her that day...

And now, she has permission to clean the ruins and put out offerings.

I'm so happy I became a sync pair with a Pokémon like Tapu Fini here on Pasio.

My partner's different from the Tapu Fini that's the guardian of Poni Island, though.

*chuckle* I guess so!

Maybe. *chuckle*
