Having learned of this, Scottie headed in the same direction out of concern.

Ahaha... Well, I was a bit angry when I did that.

Either way, what I did today was mostly thanks to Lugia being such a reliable partner.

My Lugia is so powerful, it usually tries to keep its distance from humans as a precaution.

I think it goes to show how strong and kind a Pokémon Lugia is.

Yup, that's right.

Well... It was different in the beginning.

When we first met, Lugia was hesitant to get too close.

It felt like Lugia was curious about me but still measuring my abilities.

But now, it stays right beside me.

It looks like Lugia finally acknowledged my potential. I'm relieved.

Thanks! But that didn't happen because I worked extra hard to impress Lugia or anything like that.

I just adventured like I always do, and helped who I could along the way.

Since we're going to be together for a while, I wanted Lugia to accept me for who I really am.
