A Day with Elio

Scottie was hanging out with Elio, Iris, and Wally while having battles.

Man, that was so much fun! We got to do a lot!

Iris and Wally went to get something to drink, so why don't we take a break while we wait for them to get back?

Hahaha! Looks like Popplio still has a lot of energy.

*chuckle* Eh, I'm a little tired. We've been out and about all day.

Yeah, me, too! We did a lot today!

I think it's because we played beach volleyball with Popplio's balloons.

It was tons of fun, but it also was the most exhausting!

I was starting to feel nostalgic because it kind of reminded me of Alola!

We used to train nonstop, just like that!

Looking back on it, I guess we did do a lot. We really did train all day long.

That was just normal for us at the time.

It could be tough at times, but I think I was able to get through it thanks to Popplio.

Because to Popplio, hard work is just another way to play!

Yeah. 'Cause to him, hard work is just another way of playing.

Popplio really likes to draw attention to himself by making big balloons.

At first, he wasn't very good at it...

But he still had fun, even despite those mistakes.

Eventually, he was able to make huge and incredible balloons!

That's something Popplio taught me, even if you're not so good at something, if you have fun while practicing, you'll get better at it!

But I bet that's something you already knew, Scottie.

Yeah! I'm proud to have him as my partner!

When I hang out and play with friends like you and Popplio...

I forget I was ever tired in the first place!

Or something like that! Shall we call it a day?

Wow! He still has the energy to make such a large balloon even after playing so much!

Well, we should jump right in and play with him! Popplio, make another one!

Hahaha! Popplio sure is energetic all the time. Watching him makes me feel extra energized, too!
