A Day with Nessa

Scottie was invited by Nessa to go for a swim in the ocean.

Ah, I feel so refreshed now!

Yes. The waters here are so pristine.

Why, I love to swim, of course!

My father is a fisherman. Growing up, I always lived near the ocean.

That's why for me, swimming is both a way to train as well as an important source of relaxation.

and swimming as hard as I can is so refreshing!

Drednaw also loves to swim in the ocean.

Sometimes he'll wake up in the wee hours of the morning and drag me to the ocean while I'm still half-asleep!

I try to complain and say I want to sleep more, but every time I do, Drednaw starts to open his mouth wide.

When I see that, I know I'd better wake up right away before he gives me a proper chomping!

That aside, other than playful nibbles, he's never actually bitten me before.

Yes! Bit of a surprise, isn't it?

Drednaw may look intimidating, but mine is so darling!

Sometimes, when we're out shopping, he'll wander off somewhere when I'm not looking...

But then I call his name, and he pops his head right up and plods back over to me!

It's the cutest thing I've ever seen! I can't get enough of it!

My partner knows how to behave around other people...

But in general, Drednaw are known to be rather aggressive.

It's sad, but a lot of Trainers release their Drednaw because they can't handle them properly.

On the other hand, that means they're extremely loyal once you've earned their trust!

It might be difficult to build that trust, but once it's there, you can really count on them!

That's why I'll keep working hard to be a Trainer who's worthy of my Drednaw's trust.

Because I want us to be partners forever. It's as simple as that.
