A Day with Giacomo

Scottie came across Giacomo greeting everyone in an extra-loud voice.

Oh, you wanna know why I'm doing this?

I guess it's kinda like...a PR thing I'm doing to help Team Star make a good impression.

I'm trying to be good about going around and greeting folks to help break the ice so we can all feel less like strangers.

Team Star only just started showing up on Pasio, so it's important to set the vibe, y'know?

That said, I've been up to more than just working on Team Star PR stuff!

I've been DJing and holding guerrilla gigs on the daily...

And I've been training with my partner Pokémon, too, you know, really doin' stuff for myself!

I've still got a long ways to go before I can call any of these things a success, though.

In fact, one thing I've struggled with is raising my partner Kingambit to be strong!

Kingambit here is a Pokémon I started training after I took charge of the Segin Squad...

AKA the Dark crew. He used to be a Pawniard, but he's evolved since then.

And I also started training other Dark-type Pokémon around then, too, not just Kingambit.

It didn't always go how I wanted, at first.

But I guess sticking to our training definitely helped us get stronger, little by little.

Since I became the boss of the Dark crew, I couldn't go around looking pathetic in front of the other members, y'know?

Anyways, it was tough, getting him to evolve into Kingambit...

Eri coaches all of Team Star in battling, so I was always asking for her advice until, finally, we were able to pull it off.

Yeah! Anyone who crosses us will be sweatin' bullets!

Yeah, he sure acts like a boss, no doubt.

But...even though Kingambit has that strong "I'm a boss" attitude...

he's actually not that great at thinking through complicated strategies.

He doesn't sweat the details and just likes to push through with brute force.

It's kinda like how some musicians just start ad-libbing after catching the audience's vibe at a concert.

don't overthink it, just go with the flow and have fun!

It'll be a special concert featuring DJ Vice and Kingambit!
