A Day with Arc Suit Steven

Scottie was helping Steven with his training one day while Roxanne watched on.

I know it was a last-minute invitation, Scottie, but I really appreciate your showing up!

Thanks to you, I think I've got the hang of battling in this outfit.

This is the first time I've witnessed a sync stone ultimate's power up close... It certainly does hold incredible strength!

And of course, you and Metagross are as skilled as ever, Steven!

Hm? Did you notice something?

Well, it seemed like you weren't giving many orders to Metagross... That stood out as odd to me.

Aha! Excellent observation!

The reason for that lies in Metagross's brains.

What do you mean?

Metagross's brains are said to be more intelligent than a supercomputer.

That's why I put a good deal of trust in Metagross's own decisions.

But I don't just leave everything to it.

It's the instructions I give at critical moments that lead us to victory.

Yes, that's how things should be with a Trainer and a Pokémon.

They should trust and respect each other...just like me and Metagross!

I'm happy to hear the compliment, both for me and Metagross!

But that strategy only works because you trust each other so much!

Metagross may be used to making its own decisions, but it does follow your lead when it really counts!

Even if the result is the same, the Pokémon deciding what to do on its own...

this is totally different from a Pokémon that simply refuses to listen to an underqualified Trainer!

I think the reason we're able to battle effectively together like this...

is because we've known each other for so long, ever since it was a Beldum!

When I first encountered Beldum...

it felt like destiny, an instant sensation telling me, "This Pokémon is the one!"

And now that I've awakened to the power of the arc suit, I can say with confidence that my feeling was correct!

My partner Metagross is so understanding and dependable...or to put it simply...

my Metagross is truly strong and cool!

And to prove that we're the strongest sync pair there is right now...

I plan to keep polishing our skills until they gleam even brighter!

I'm sure that sync pairs have an absolutely infinite capacity to shine.

And I'm looking forward to seeing just how far you're able to take your own sparkle in the future!
