A Day with Lenora

Scottie was taking a walk in a cave when [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] noticed something light up in front of [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="him" F="her" ].

The mysterious light drew closer and closer... Then it let out a growl!

Who's that screaming? That was so loud, it's echoing all over the cave!

A ghost? Now that's a scary thought!

Oh, it's you, Scottie.

Hm? Why are you looking at Watchog like that?

...Ah, I get it.

That's why you screamed just now, because you saw her, right?

Watchog's eyes shine brightly even in the dark.

Sorry about that. We didn't mean to startle you.

We came to this cave to do some research.

Even though Pasio's an artificial island, the ruins and underground caves here are incredibly well-created.

So they piqued my interest.

As the director of the Nacrene Museum, I thought I might learn something that would help the exhibits there.

Watchog has keen eyesight even in dark places like caves.

So she's been traveling all over Pasio with me to observe together.

She is indeed! The little gal's always helping me out.

Ah ha ha! You might be right!

Watchog's a wonderful partner AND assistant!

Even back in Unova, she acted as my eyes when we were exploring ruins or doing excavation work.

She helped by warning me whenever we came across an unstable area!

I raised her so lovingly, so I'm so proud of what she's become!

Anyway, the two of us are going to keep up our research here for a bit longer...

but if you discover anything interesting in this cave, please come and tell us!

...Wait a second!

Wait, Scottie!

The ground gets really muddy over there, so it's dangerous to just go off running.

I'm glad to see you so active and brimming with curiosity, but please be careful.

Going all out is important, but so is caution, OK?

It's the same with Pokémon battles.

Pausing for a moment to determine exactly when to use each move is vital.

But that enthusiasm of yours is also one of your strengths, Scottie.

Just keep what I told you in mind, that's all.

And if anything happens to you, we'll be there in a flash!

Now you can go for real this time!
