1. A Day with Cheren
39 linesScottie heard a strong gust of wind blowing through the mountains.
As [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] headed toward the noise to see what was causing it, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] came across Cheren and Skyla.
Thank you for training with me, Skyla.
No problem! Battling with you was a ton of fun!
I'm impressed, Neo Champion! You totally know how to bring out your Pokémon's strength!
Oh, no, I still have a lot to learn.
I don't even compare to a Flying-type Pokémon expert like you.
Hahaha! You're so modest!
Your Tornadus seriously blew my mind.
It looks so different from mine that I thought they were totally different Pokémon!
Yeah, our Tornadus do look different...
Since you're here, Scottie, why don't we have a little study session?
Some Pokémon can change forms, which can change how they look and affect their stats.
My Tornadus is in its Incarnate Forme.
Skyla's Tornadus is in its Therian Forme.
Tornadus is said to change its appearance when its shown a Reveal Glass, a looking glass that supposedly reveals a Pokémon's true form.
Which of its forms is its true form, however, remains a mystery.
Is that so?
I wonder which one is its true form... What do you think, Scottie?
Its true form... I wonder...
You think so too, Scottie? We're on the same wavelength, then!
This is just my theory...
but maybe they're BOTH its true form.
What do you mean?
People have moments when their behavior changes depending on who they're talking to or what kind of situation they're in, right?
Maybe it's the same for Tornadus.
Just like how the Pokémon we raise with love grow to have kind hearts...
changing the way we interact with them could change their appearance, too.
If it seems like something about our Pokémon has changed, maybe that's because there's been a change in our own thoughts or beliefs.
This applies to Pokémon other than Tornadus, too. Pokémon are like mirrors, they're a reflection of our hearts.
As we walk alongside our Pokémon, maybe their "true form" is what they look like in the moment.
*chuckle* Sorry for rambling on. I got a little carried away.
*chuckle* I'd be glad if any of this was even a little helpful to you.
Pokémon are a reflection of our hearts...
Oh! That must be why you and your Tornadus are so similar!
The way he crosses his arms reminds me of a dependable teacher!
Oh, you think so?
A dependable teacher, huh...
I hope that's how my students see me, too.
