A Day with Brassius

One day, Scottie spotted Brassius and Juliana chatting.

Oh! Out for a walk, Scottie?

I was just chatting with Brassius!

He's a Gym Leader from Paldea who specializes in Grass-type Pokémon. And he's an artist!

That I am. And this is my partner Pokémon, Sudowoodo!

As you can see, he's been honed by the art of Pokémon battles.

Your expression overflows with curiosity... Very well! Allow me to explain!

Do you not understand? Then I shall impart you with some wisdom!

My Sudowoodo Terastallizes into Grass type during battle...and I consider this an act of art!

Although Sudowoodo may look like a tree...

its composition is closer to rock than vegetation. It merely mimics a tree!

Thus, it isn't fond of water.

However! By Terastallizing, it no longer needs to rely on mimicry! It can become a true Grass-type Pokémon!

Ergo, Pokémon battling is art!

The aggression! The elegance! It all comes together to form a masterpiece!

I call it...Truleewoodo!

When you look at Pokémon battles as a whole, they look like art.

Moves are exchanged, flowing into each other. Shifting colors, shaking emotions...

Each battleground is like an artist's atelier!

As an artist, once I am in an atelier, I simply can't sit still!

Brassius... Does that mean what I think?

Indeed. My muses sing to me! I am filled with the desire to create!

Scottie! Would you battle me now? Let us turn this battleground into our atelier!

Then, you can show me your art and the feelings you pour into it!

I assume you are ready? Let our collaborative work of art begin!
