A Day with Blue

Scottie was walking back to town and ran into Blue, who was in the middle of a series of battles with other Trainers.

First, you have to remember why you became a Trainer in the first place. Don't ever forget that.

Also, a sync pair is only as strong as their bond, so you have to trust your partner, and earn their love and trust, too.

And last but not least, you need a good rival!

Red and I have been rivals for ages, so we're both where we are now because of each other.

Red's the best at what he does. So as his rival, I have to be the best, too.

Does that make sense?

That just means you haven't found a good rival yet. I'm sure if you look around, you'll find a ton of candidates, though!

But I lost to Red soon after, and that's when I realized I had to change.

Heh... I sure hope he does!

I actually wanted to explore more of Kanto together with Aerodactyl, but I kind of struggled raising him back then.

I think it's probably because I wasn't ready to handle him at the time.

But now, I think I am! And that's why I chose him as my partner Pokémon!

I also chose this outfit because I want to remember how I felt back then.

Oh, but don't worry... I don't plan on losing this time.
