11. Garlic Jr. Returns!, before the battle
58 linesThough I was trapped in a void of eternal darkness, destiny saw fit to release me from such cruel shackles, so that I may walk the earth once more, and savor sweet vengeance! All life that thrives under the sun will soon know an agony that far dwarfs my own!
Approximately ten months had elapsed since the battle with Frieza. Now, a new evil was poised to attack. And with Goku absent, Earth had never been more vulnerable.
Garlic Jr., a demonic miscreant who warred for the position of Earth's guardian, was back from the Dead Zone!
The villain wasted no time in attacking the Lookout, imprisoning Kami and Mr. Popo. He then released a vile substance known as the "Black Water Mist", transforming all Earth's inhabitants...into demons!
Gohan and Krillin were lucky enough to steer clear of the noxious haze, only to be attacked by their dear friends and Chi-Chi! To make matters worse, Garlic Jr.'s four henchmen arrived on the scene with orders to wreak brutality.
Didn't get a whiff of the Black Water Mist, eh?
