Having regained his youth, the inferno of Slug's ambition blazed brighter than ever. Was Earth fated to become a vehicle for his malicious machinations?

In order to make Earth a more suitable habitat to demonkind, Slug's forces blanketed the skies in thick clouds. Concealed from the sun's touch, Earth quickly turned into an arctic wasteland.

At last, this planet is suited to our kind!

Those Earthlings are as good as extinct!

I've figured him out. As with Kami, Slug escaped his home world of Namek when it was on the brink of destruction.

He then arrived on planet Slug, still a mere infant.

A mutation quite rare to the Namekian species allowed the evil in his heart to gain dominance.

Now... that is all that remains. He is evil in its purest form. A sinister, Super Namekian!

Thanks to Piccolo's knowledge of Namekian physiology, Gohan's whistling managed to weaken the hulking Slug. In a final bid for victory, Piccolo transferred his remaining power to Goku. And so the final battle was at hand...

Trusty sun. I can always depend on you!

Lend me your energy! I only need a little!

Spirit Bomb!

Goku shot past the dense barrier of clouds, gathering energy from the sun to form a Spirit Bomb, which he sent hurtling into Slug. The clouds then dissipated, uniting the sun's rays with the planet once more.

You did it, Goku.

Slug should've quit while he was ahead. Expanding his borders to Earth proved his undoing.

Still... That Goku never ceases to amaze. He took down a Super Namekian...

I guess that makes Goku a "Super Saiyan"...
