And so Goku found common cause with Hearts' objective and agreed to help defeat Fu. But before they could act, Goku was attacked by Cooler and Frieza, who were also trapped in the Pseudo Universe!

2. The Ultimate Clash Begins, after the battle
8 linesTogether, Goku and Hearts managed to defeat Cooler and Frieza. But all Goku really cared about was escaping the Pseudo Universe. It was then that Hearts showed him something interesting...
That looks like a Dragon Ball!
Is it the real deal?
Not quite. It's a copy, but it has the same effect as the real thing...
...which means it'd still be worth it to collect all seven.
I get it...
We collect 'em all, then wish to get out of here!
And so the duo pinned their hopes on the Dragon Balls to get them out of the Pseudo Universe. They joined forces on a quest, believing that the Dragon Balls had to be their best chance...
3. Decisive Clash for the Future, before the battle
6 linesGoku and Hearts escaped from the Pseudo Universe by gathering all the Dragon Balls. But Fu, who had fused with Dogidogi, was waiting for them in the form of a teenage boy...
With the Supreme Kai of Time's help, Goku used every last ounce of strength he had left to fight the final battle. But Fu was using the Universe Tree to absorb the multiverse's energy in a bid to completely eliminate Goku and company!
It seems I must utterly destroy those who stand in my way.
Fu's overwhelming power had our hero on the ropes. However, Goku managed to redirect some of the Universe Tree's energy that was streaming into Fu and channel it into himself for a massive power-up!
You were able to control it?!
Fu! Your days of having your way are over!

Goku had defeated Fu after a fierce battle. With Tokitoki's powers, the universe was restored to its original state. And so it was that the long-standing battle with Fu finally came to an end.
