Having seen off Uub, Goku decided to head back to his family for the first time in a while. However, Pilaf had crept into Kami's Lookout and used another mysterious set of Dragon Balls to summon Shenron...!

Pilaf had used the Ultimate Dragon Balls, a set created by Kami before his split from the Demon King Piccolo... These Dragon Balls had granted Pilaf's wish, and Goku was turned back into a child! However, this wasn't the end to what had been set in motion...
