The news of the Cell Games elicited no sign of distress from the seasoned Saiyan hero. On the contrary, he declared his intent to enjoy some quality family time. What was giving Goku so much confidence?
While savoring this rare spell of relaxation, Goku came to a crucial realization: in order to resurrect the masses ruthlessly murdered by Cell, Earth required a brand-new set of Dragon Balls. He wasted no time in touching down on New Namek via Instant Transmission. His goal: seek out a Namekian to succeed Kami.
Having found the perfect Namekian for the job, Goku returned to Earth with newfound recruit Dende in tow. The youth's first official act as guardian: nothing less than restoring the Dragon Balls!
