During his travels, Goku stopped at Demon Village, where the residents were suffering from the misdeeds of the demons emerging from the Portal of the Demon Realm. Recognizing Goku's potential, the king asked him to rescue the kidnapped Princess Meesa from Shula, a martial arts master from the Demon Realm.
