Dragon Ball GT: Black Star DB Saga

And so, his training under Goku's tutelage at an end, Uub left to seek adventures of his own. As for Goku, his pupil gone, he resolved to head home, where his family awaited. Little did he know, however, fate had other plans... Before Goku could descend from Kami's Lookout,

the Black Star Dragon Balls were activated! These were a far more powerful set of Dragon Balls, brought by Kami before his separation with the dreaded King Piccolo... Uncovered from the sky temple's depths to fulfill a wish most sinister, these new Dragon Balls did the unthinkable to our hero. When the dust settled, Goku was... ...a child!

Goku had no choice but to return home in his juvenile form. Needless to say, his wife, Chi-Chi, and granddaughter, Pan, were shocked. Unfortunately for them, family trials were but the tip of a very big iceberg.

These Dragon Balls are bad news. Failing to recover them within a year of the last wish...

will utterly destroy the planet they were used on!

You can't be serious...?!

And so it was that Goku's new quest of combat and courage began, the likes of which none in the universe had yet seen or heard...

One year left and counting until the Earth's demise. With the Black Star Dragon Balls flung to all corners of space, it was up to Goku, Trunks, and Pan to seek them out and quell the crisis. And so, the 3 Saiyans departed for the stars and beyond.

Unfortunately for them, their spacecraft ran into mechanical issues shortly after launch, resulting in an emergency landing on planet Imecka.

Everyone's a money-hungry merchant. Heck, you have to pay rent just to stand still!

We'll be broke before sundown if we hang around too long!

Sadly, even more pressing matters than money were on their way. An enigmatic robot appeared, only to gobble down the crew's most valuable possession, the Dragon Radar.

Giru! Giru!

Unbelievably, it emerged that the planet's monarch, Don Kee himself, had decided to pilfer the crew's ship! Not one to lie down, Goku attempted to use Instant Transmission to pursue him, however...

Argh. It's the Dragon Balls. By reverting you back to your child state,

it seems it's been erased from your arsenal! What should we do now?

Train hard and you'll get stronger.

I know it. I'll train up too. Then, let's have another round!

With Ledgic defeated, Goku and friends were able to recover their precious spaceship. At last, they were ready to continue the quest for the Black Star Dragon Balls. Or so they thought...

Giru! Giru! Giru!

Call me crazy, but... I think this little guy

can take on the abilities of the gear he's absorbed. That right, buddy?

Giru! Giru! Giru!

Hm.

It does seem to be his favorite word. Heh heh.

With a newfound companion in tow, the crew resumed their search for the Dragon Balls, towards a host of new worlds beckoning to them from a sea of stars... Their new chapter of thrills and adventure had only just begun.

Goku and company touched down on the planet Monmaasu. With them was their mechanical companion Giru, now doubling as their Dragon Ball-searching apparatus after having gulped down the Dragon Radar. Thankfully, they made their first find without a hitch-- the Four-Star Ball.

Continuing their quest for the remaining six Balls, our heroes came to a strange new planet known as Gelbo. Here lived Zoonama, a powerful monster with a nasty penchant for oppressing villagers by causing terrible earthquakes.

With the troublesome Zoonama defeated by Goku and gang, the villagers were now freed from his oppression. They happily handed over the Six-Star Ball in gratitude. Now, there were only five to go, or so our heroes thought...

Unfortunately for Goku and company, their newfound Dragon Ball left their possession as quickly as it came-- pilfered by an unknown perpetrator! Can the team recover the lost Ball? What perils await them on the path ahead...?!

Before our heroes could celebrate their triumph, a figure emerged from the shadows and made off with the Six-Star Ball. The team hastily launched in hot pursuit.

Dragon Ball detected! Trajectory: 12 o'clock! Distance: 2456!

Though Team Goku succeeded in defeating the Para Para Brothers, the coveted Six-Star Ball was not to be theirs just yet. Unfortunately for our heroes, the Brothers had delivered the Ball to the planet Luud prior to the scuffle on Beehay.

The journey continued to planet Luud, the supposed location of the Six-Star Ball. The alien world was ruled by a tyrant named "Dolltaki," chief leader of the Luud Cult.

I am Dolltaki. The founder of the Luud faith, and the very mouthpiece

of the mighty Luud himself!

Nrgh... Conniving brats...!

You'll know your place once Luud's activated!

Having far underestimated Goku and company, the cornered Dolltaki resolved to activate the dormant Luud in a final, desperate bid for victory.

Mighty Luud! I beseech thee awaken!

Crush the blasphemers who stand before you! I beg of you!

Alert! Danger! Aleeeeeert!

At long last, the team managed to beat the behemoth and recover the stolen Six-Star Ball. Still, all was not well. The mysterious Dr. Myuu had taken notice of Goku and friends.

The events on Luud concluded with the recovery of the Six-Star Ball. Our heroes then traveled to the planet Rudeeze, the location of the Five-Star Ball. After adding it

to their collection, only 4 Balls remained unfound. And so, the journey continued. But where to now?

Set destination. Giru's planet.

Place of assembly. ...Is there.

At Giru's request, the team touched down on the curious planet of M2. This world was inhabited solely by machine mutants, Giru's brethren.

HA!

Even the Super Mega Cannon Sigma proved no match for Goku. But the gang was not to breathe easy just yet-- for a more sinister foe lay poised to strike...

Something's headed this way. Something strong.

Rilldo was defeated-- but before anyone could rejoice, Goku and friends were transported off M2... to an entirely different planet! This world was home to none other than the manic mastermind, Dr. Myuu.

Goku and the gang skillfully evaded the entrapments of M2 and Baby, but failed to prevent Dr. Myuu from slipping from their grasp.

It's true, we can't waste any more time on Myuu.

We still need to collect all the Dragon Balls, remember? That has to be our priority.

Although some concern still remained in their hearts, Goku and the gang set out once more in search of the Dragon Balls. Would they come face to face with Dr. Myuu again? And was it too optimistic to hope that Baby was really gone for good?
