Eons ago, in the depths of space, an evil wizard birthed an entity of pure terror, the likes of which none had seen before.

The wizard was named Bibidi. And his creation, Majin Buu, possessed neither thought nor feeling. All it craved was carnage and destruction, laying waste to hundreds of planets within the short span of a few years.

Buu's sole purpose had become nothing more than striking fear in the hearts of all sentient beings. In a gambit to save the universe from further chaos, the Supreme Kais intervened.

Majin Buu put a swift end to the West Supreme Kai in a jaw-dropping display of force. Charged with overseeing all of space, the Supreme Kais were revered as the mightiest of the mighty. Yet not even the West Supreme Kai could stop Buu's rampage...

The South Supreme Kai's power now pulsed within Buu, spurring the pink brute to continue his destructive spree with increased fervor. It was then that the Grand Supreme Kai, ruler of all the cosmos, rose to face the beast.

The Grand Supreme Kai engaged Majin Buu in heated combat, all while protecting the injured East Supreme Kai. But alas, Buu absorbed the Grand Supreme Kai, power and all...

B-Buu? Is that really you?

A-As I recall, there was a cake sitting on the kitchen table...

Soon, Buu grew too unruly for Bibidi to control, forcing the wizard to seal the Majin away. Having just barely survived, the East Supreme Kai seized a split-second's opportunity to defeat Bibidi. The threat of Majin Buu was quelled... or so it seemed.

It turned out that Bibidi had a son. And he was just as evil and ambitious as his father. The true battle with Majin Buu was only just beginning...
