1. Before the battle
17 linesRecipe for Justice
A series of articles written by Kaname Tosen for the Seireitei Bulletin. It was, in fact, quite popular among female Soul Reapers.
Since the Seireitei Bulletin came out on paper, I could only write out the recipes.
However, today, I would like to present the actual dishes.
Kaname, what do you think you're doing?
Can you please stop taking over my "Arrancar Encyclopedia" segment?
And I hope you remember this is Hueco Mundo. We're not in the Soul Society anymore.
The first recipe I would like to introduce today is Justice Soup.
Um... Can you hear me?
I came up with this recipe for Justice Soup all by myself.
It warms up not just the body, but also your mind. I highly recommend it for surviving through this cold winter.
Hellooo? Kaname? Can you not ignore me, please?
First, you prepare one pot of water.
We will be slow-cooking this dish, so if you prefer a lighter flavor, you can also add some extra water here.
Well, then. He's really gonna start cooking, huh.
Gin, will you take this pot? I need you to add water and let it boil.
Wait. Am I your assistant?
2. After the battle
31 linesNow, you're supposed to let this simmer and stew for about 38 hours.
But today, I have another pot that's already done.
As expected of Kaname. Always prepared.
This is the dish.
I let it stew for an entire day, making a broth and carefully skimming off all the foam.
And the result is this clear, crisp soup.
Ooh, let me taste. Wow!
The 300 ingredients were cooked slowly until they all melted away.
They completely blend together to create this rich flavor.
It's as if it's soaking through my entire body, like an oasis in a barren land!
I may have not mentioned yet, but...
All the dishes in this Recipe for Justice series will cause physical illness to those with an impure heart.
What?
Oh, please. Your jokes aren't very funny, Kaname. I saw you cooking it normally.
What's wrong, Gin? You're looking a little pale.
Haha. That's impossible.
(Wait a minute. I'm not feeling so good...)
Oh, what's this? Did you make it, Kaname?
Yes, sir.
May I have a taste?
I hope it satisfies your palate.
Wait, Lord Aizen, it's...!
Yum. Very tasty.
The aromatic fragrance tickles my nose, and I enjoy looking at the beautiful amber color of the soup as well.
At the center of this mild blend of various ingredients is a strong, bold richness.
It's not greasy at all, and there's a lingering taste that makes you want more. By the time you realize it, you're done with the meal.
Just one bowl was able to satisfy me. It was a wonderful dish, Kaname.
Thank you very much.
Huh? Lord Aizen, does your stomach hurt or anything?
What are you talking about? I'm feel quite fine, as you can see.
What?! Why only me?!
