Chapter 1: The Unexpected Repo Man

Hello! Anyone home?

Kisuke? Now that's rare. What brings you here?

I know it's been a while, but do you remember that device I lent you to help keep your Hollow powers under control?

I was wondering if I could get it back. Do you still have it?

That was ages ago! Hold on a minute.

I don't know where it went.

Well, that poses a problem. Are you sure you looked everywhere?

Do you realize how long ago that was? If I ever find it someday, I'll let you know.

I don't really want to bring this up, but listen, Shinji...

Do you remember that when I lent you the device, you signed a lease contract?

I did?

In that contract was a clause that explained there would be a fine in the event you lose the...

I never said I lost it.

Of course you didn't.

Give me a little longer.

I know I said I'd search for it, but I don't even remember what it looked like.

This... Oh, it's Lisa's magazine. And here's a bunch more.

Woah, Shinji. Quit rummaging through my bookshelf without my permission.

I never knew the floor was your bookshelf. Clean it up a bit, will you?

Oh, you didn't know, Shinji? Books multiply on their own. A bookshelf is never enough space.

How could that be possible? Anyway, I'm not here to debate about that.

Since you're both here, I wanted to ask something...

Don't try to change the subject. You can't fool me. I see what you have there in your hand.

You touched my precious collection without my permission, and for that, you will be punished!

Oh, you were just looking for that weird device? You should've said so from the start.

Now that you know, can you help me look for it? If we can't find it, we're gonna have Kisuke on our butts trying to collect the fine.

No reason for you to make it sound like I'm some evil repo man. It was a legitimate deal.

Woah! You scared me! How did you get in here?

I was waiting around, since I thought it'd be quick.

But this is a rather large mess. I don't think you'll be able to find it unless you clean the entire place up.

I think that's our only choice now. Everyone, we're gonna have a massive cleanup.

I'll bring it to you when I find it. Would that work for you?

Well, all right. I'll leave you to it then.
