First off, let's address that mysterious light. Turns out it was a temporary servant working the night shift.

Hm? I've never heard about any such servant. Have you?

I haven't heard a thing either.

The master had asked a good friend to send in a servant to temporarily bolster the short-handed staff.

Still, considering the master never told anyone that I had been invited, it's no wonder that no one heard about it.

I certainly can't deny that.

But what about the disappearing food and the thumping sounds?

Indeed. It could have only been the stuffed toy belonging to the pretty lady. She said she chats with it.

My toy doesn't talk, though! I just do a voice for it, that's all.
