Chapter 12: The Wandenreich 1

That is the entire situation report on the rebel army invasion.

Thank you, Akon. You're dismissed.

Yes, sir.

Well then... These Ryokas who we're calling a "rebel army" at the moment...

The invasion of these insurgents, who call themselves the Vandenreich, and the recent disappearances of Hollows are connected.

I'm sure you astute captains have already realized that this army is made up of Quincies.

There is no way of knowing how they survived or expanded their forces.

What we need to be cautious of is the fact that they seem to possess a way to pass through the Soul Shield Membrane.

According to Lieutenant Sasakibe's dying words, they also possess a means to seal and neutralize Bankai...

That'll be enough. You've shared enough information.

What I want from you is where their base of operations is.

Unfortunately, we have not yet...

I see... So we have no way of attacking them.

I'm ordering all captains to prepare for battle.

The advance party of the rebel army declared that the battle will begin in five days. There is no point in trusting the words of these deceitful men that dared to mount a surprise attack.

Prepare for battle immediately with full spirit and speed. We will not allow them to take the upper hand again!
