Well, it's just that I remembered a tip about baking sweet potatoes. You're not supposed to put them directly in the fire.

Oh, really?

It's more like steaming than baking. After you build a nice fire, you let the fire die down, and then bury the potatoes inside the coals to cook them thoroughly.

You have to make sure to heat them up all the way through, or it'll still be raw on the inside and it won't be as tasty.

I never knew that. All right, let's get a lot of coal and build our fire.
