Chapter 3

Well, anyway! Time to call up member number two!

Okay, I permit you to enter!

Hey, don't just call me up out of the blue like that, Riruka! You scared me.

You? Scared? That's a bit out of character.

Anyway, allow me to introduce the leader of Xcution, Kugo Ginjo!

Hold on. Why am I the second member to get introduced? Shouldn't I come after everyone else? Y'know, saving the best for last and all?

I didn't really have a choice. You and Giriko were the only people around the base today.

So, that's how it is, huh?

Anyway, moving on!

Kugo's Fullbring ability is called "Cross of Scaffold." He can turn his necklace into a broadsword to fight with.

Well, there's a bunch of other stuff I can do, too, but... It's easier to comprehend than Giriko's power, at least.

I can hack any opponent to pieces with this blade. I don't really need to show off any more of my power than that.

How barbaric! Not cute at all. Kugo is just all brute strength, really.

Hey, c'mon now. Gimme some credit.

How can you say that after I bought some desserts I thought you might like while I was out earlier?

Huh? What desserts?

From that new place that opened outside the station... What was it called again?

Y-You mean that pastry shop?!

But, I guess you don't want anything from a barbaric oaf like me, huh?

Urk, f-fine! I'm sorry, all right? Now hand over the desserts!
