Chapter 1: Fall in Love, Young Maiden

............

Is something wrong? What are you doing in front of Third Seat Urahara's room?

Nothing...

I was worried because Lady Yoruichi isn't back yet. I'm going to go check on her.

Really? Is that true?

Lady Yoruichi! What are you doing in a place like this?

There is a pile of documents that need to be looked at today. You should return soon.

You're as uptight as ever. Forging friendships with squad members is also part of a captain's duties, you know.

Yes, but there's a document regarding the inauguration of the new captain that needs to be looked at right away.

Oh, I wanted to apologize to you about something to do with that.

Apologize to me?

I thought Kisuke would make a good Squad 12 captain, so I recommended him. I don't regret that.

But I do feel bad for you, since you're in love with him.

Huh...?

Don't worry, Soi Fon! Even if you're in different squads or different Seats, I'll always help you!

Lady Yoruichi, why are you still saying such things?!

I told you! There's no way I would ever love someone like him!

You don't have to hide it.

I know that you were sadly staring at Kisuke's room earlier.

I was only checking to see if he cleaned that disgusting room of his. That's all there was to it!

You're so stubborn. You should be honest.

You approved of Kisuke in front of me just the other day.

That is...true, but...
