Chapter 2: A New Home

Nrgh...

What are you doing, Kon? Even if you lie there all day, no girl is going to stop to pick you up.

Just leave me... No one cares...

I'm guessing Ichigo got mad at you again, huh? But being outside like you are right now is only going to get you into more trouble.

I'm on a journey to find myself a new home! Ichigo has nothing to do with this!

I doubt you have anywhere in mind. All right, fine. I'll introduce you to a nice place.

Really?!

Oh hey, Yoruichi. Taking a stroll with Kon on your back? Now, this is a rare sight.

I tried to hold him in my mouth but he wouldn't stop complaining. I had no other choice, really.

Wait, this is your nice place? Why?!

You get three meals a day with snacks on the side. As an added perk, there's a bath you can use and even a place to sleep. Wouldn't you say it's nice for a new home?

Wait, what's this about a new home? I'm not running a rental apartment business here.

Although, if you really do want to live here, let's see...

How about this? You lend me some help with my research into Mod Souls, and I'll rent you a cardboard box.

That's not even close to fair, you crooked swindler of a businessman!!!

*Pant* *Pant*

I rushed inside to escape, but it's just a matter of time...

I need to get outside before they find me.
