Chapter 3: Soi Fon & Kiyone's Story

Looks like you and I are a team again, Captain Soi Fon! Let's do our best!

First, we need to think of candidates to speak to...

Is there any question about it? Of course we're going to ask Lady Yoruichi.

I thought as much.

Do you have a problem with it?

N-No, I would never! Lady Yoruichi is a beautiful woman! Let's make our way then!

............

Ahh, Lady Yoruichi... You truly are beautiful, today as always.

Why are we looking at her from so far away? Shouldn't we go talk to her?

Mmm! Such wonderful weather! Don't you agree, Soi Fon?

Ah! Oh...

(She got caught again!!!)

I feel like I've seen this situation before, but I'll ask anyway. Do you have business with me?

You see, there's something we would like to ask of you, which is why we came today. It's that, um...

Lady Yoruichi! Will you please enter our beauty pageant?!

A beauty pageant? Are you girls hosting it?

That's correct. We're currently looking for people who are willing to compete.

Lady Yoruichi, you will be victorious! No doubt about it! Please enter!

Hmm, I suppose I'd definitely win if I entered this contest.

Then you'll...?

But I decline.

Lady Yoruichi... Why won't she agree to be our candidate?

We can't help it if she just doesn't feel like it.

But that can't be right. There must be some sort of conspiracy going on.

Captain Soi Fon, Kiyone! How's the progress on your end?

We asked Lady Yoruichi to be our nominee, but she refused. Captain Soi Fon is a bit depressed about that right now.

Oh... Well, that's no good. I can't seem to find anyone else who would be a good candidate either.

We have to try looking elsewhere.

Do you really believe a candidate superior to Lady Yoruichi exists?

(Maybe the reason why we can't find anyone is because our standards are too high.)
