1. Before the battle
17 linesAlright. Our mission in the world of the living is done for now.
I was a little worried at the start, but I'm glad it went smoothly.
And now, to write up the report. That's the most annoying part about investigation missions.
There's a lot more to write about compared to missions where it's just defeating enemies.
But we did have a pretty long stay this time, and it looked like you were playing around for most of it.
You could at least put some effort into writing up the report.
Grr, I know.
But it sure does feel good to be heading back in the Soul Society. Something about it is comforting.
Yeah, I agree. After all, it's where we live, and where we call home.
Oh, looks like it's raining.
Ugh, rain again? It was raining the whole time we were in the world of the living!
What's the point in complaining about weather?
It's just rainy season both here and there. There's nothing we can do about it.
I get that, but still.
We should probably get going. We'll catch a cold if we stay out too long.
Let's head back to our barracks.
Yeah, you're right.
2. After the battle
18 linesI'm back.
Hey, good to see you.
Oh! Welcome back, Rukia!
Kiyone, give me those files over there.
Why don't you just get them yourself?
Um, you guys seem busy. Did something happen?
It's just that Captain Ukitake got sick again.
We're trying to take care of what we can, at least the miscellaneous paperwork.
Oh no. Is there anything I can help with?
It's fine. Don't worry about it! You just got back from the world of the living.
We appreciate the thought, but you should get some rest first.
But I...
Hey. You gotta rest well if you wanna work well.
Take things easy for today, and you can help us tomorrow.
I understand.
Then I'll take the day off if you're sure it's alright.
Of course. It's still raining, so be careful on your way home.
See you tomorrow!
