What's this all about? Why's everybody holding pieces of paper?

Hey, Rukia and Rangiku! What's with that paper?

This is evidently called a "task checklist."

After you accomplish an objective, you will receive a stamp on your sheet. You can evidently move on only after collecting enough stamps.

When Captain Ukitake, Rukia, and I were having tea a while back, we discussed recreational activities in the World of the Living.

It seems Captain Ukitake took a liking to some of the ideas and set this place up as a kind of game area.

So it's like some sort of stamp rally.

The Sabotage Squad members in this area all carry stamps that you can collect by completing the objectives they give you.

Swordsmanship, martial arts, Kido... Quite a variety.

Aaagh, damn it! I just can't get it right!

Pipe down, Renji! That's exactly why I told you to skip the Kido tasks!

Ahh, I get it. It's chumps like Renji that are making this place so crowded.

Ugh, I failed! Do I seriously have to start all over again?!

Hooray, I passed!

I thought this place was a pointless amusement parlor at first, but it's not too bad.

Yeah, it's a good way to recognize our own shortcomings. People tend to rely only on the techniques they excel at when out on a mission.

And I see a lot of empty spaces on that list of yours from the events you've been avoiding.

Gaaah! Failed again!

I'm not saying you need to be as persistent as him... You only need to obtain a certain number of stamps to proceed, so keep at it.

Wow... While Renji's stuck in an endless cycle of failure, Tetsuzaemon passed a huge number of tasks in the blink of an eye...

It's almost too painful to watch.

This area is too crowded as it is. Hurry up and move on already!

Whoops, sorry 'bout that. I was having so much fun collectin' these stamps that I forgot why I needed 'em...

Guess it's time to move on and finish this whole shebang!

Phew! It might not have been as easy as Tetsuzaemon did it, but I've got enough stamps to proceed as well!

Hmph, I'm done too. We'll just have to make up some ground in the next area!
