Chapter 1: Under the Sands of Hueco Mundo
The Forest of Menos. Ichigo and his friends have entered Hueco Mundo in order to save Orihime. On their way, they encounter Runuganga and during their battle they are sucked into the sand. Below the sands, they find themselves in the vast Forest of Menos.

1. Before the battle
48 linesIn order to save Orihime, who has been kidnapped by the Arrancars, Ichigo and his friends have snuck into Hueco Mundo.
They came across odd Arrancars named Nel, Pesche, and Dondochakka, and wound up travelling with these strange companions.
The Guardian of the White Sand, Runuganga, appeared before them and blocked their way. But at that moment, Rukia and Renji arrived from the Soul Society and defeated Runuganga.
They once again set off on their path to Sosuke Aizen's headquarters, Las Noches.
Stop right there! You'll go no further. I won't let you take another step towards Las Noches!
He's still alive? We're gonna have some problems with this guy.
It can't be! I shattered him into a thousand pieces!
Runuganga is made of sand. So it makes sense for there to be more than one of him.
So this is a second body.

Nel only heard rumors of the Menos Forest. It's a new place for Nel. This is the first time Nel has ever been here. Nel doesn't know of any way out of here.
