Blazing Battle: The Kido Tournament!. With the Hado test complete, it is time to announce the results. Ikkaku, however, notices that Kenpachi isn't around.

You all worked very hard that round. Excellent work, everyone!
The group that took first place was Soi Fon, Captain Komamura, and Captain Unohana. No surprise to see a squad of captains perform so well! You got more than twice as many points as second place!
More than twice?
*Sigh* It was always going to be tricky going up against a squad of captains.
Speaking of captains, I don't see Captain Zaraki's squad anywhere.
Ah, you see, Captain Zaraki's squad scored no points. They haven't even come back yet.
No points?!
Perhaps they didn't notice that time's up? Sorry to ask this of you, but could you call them over?
2. After the battle

Ikkaku? Ugh, it's because of Captain Zaraki.
He knew that we had to shoot down the targets with our Kido, but he still went off on his own little rampage.
What?!
We tried our best to stop him and managed to lure him over to the forest where there are no targets, but guess what he did?
Strengthening Kido? Shooting down targets? Tch, I couldn't care less about that. All I need is some slicing and dicing.
And that's how it went down.
So, did he just end up leaving? That wouldn't be out of character for him, that's for sure.
The test was a total disaster. With us being one man down, the Stealth Force just went and took out all the targets.
Captain Soi Fon was so uninterested in the tournament earlier this morning. Where'd her sudden burst of motivation come from?
(Phew. I'm just glad I wasn't in the same squad as Captain Zaraki.)
