2 scenes, 42 lines
1. Before the battle
19 linesSo, you're saying the other mirror was broken? Why would the perpetrator do such a dangerous thing?!
Some people just wanna watch the world burn, I guess.
The spirit who was released from the broken mirror is wreaking havoc 'cause he wants a vessel and more power.
We're here to put a stop to his rampage.
And what do you wish to gain by coming here? Isn't the mirror already broken?
The two mirrors together sealed his divided powers in eternal darkness.
If we think of the mirror as a portal, we could seal him again by making him look into the remaining one, right?
Well, that's what we're thinking, anyway.
So, we hope you can lend it to us.
............
Chad, you said you didn't have the time to speak with us, correct?
Has something happened to the mirror? The other half of the pair was damaged, after all.
............
Quiet.
Is something wrong?
I sense intruders.
You mean someone besides us?
Yes.
Hey, Chad?!
2. After the battle
23 linesWhy are you following me? This has nothing to do with you.
Of course it does! I mean, it's clearly related to the fuss happenin' out there.
There seems to be more than one intruder. They're heading west, most likely toward the lake.
How do you know that when you haven't even seen them? Do you have familiars nearby?
No, that's not quite it. I do not delegate my work to familiars like other spirits tend to.
The many animals of the forest tell me what they see.
Is there something in the lake that these intruders would want?
The mirror.
So, there were other spirits out there who knew of its exact location?
The possibility isn't zero, I guess. No one would risk breaking into the Forbidden Land otherwise.
Course, if no one had risked breaking in, we wouldn't know how dangerous it was in the first place.
Have you always guarded the Forbidden Land?
Yes. I decided that I had to.
Incidentally, that young man really isn't the dangerous villain you make him out to be.
I don't blame you for thinking so, because you've only seen his lust for power, but he's actually very kind deep down.
I am not from this land. I was born elsewhere, far away. I ended up here due to certain circumstances.
He was the only one who accepted an outsider like me.
So now, I want to save him like he saved me back then.
Chad, there's something I wish to ask you.
*Boooooom*
Was that an explosion?!
Ichigo!
Ah!
