Chapter 2: Fierce Battle on the Sand - Part One

I brought a ball!

How about some beach volleyball, then?

Beach bally-ball? What's that?

Um, we split into two teams and hit the ball back and forth without letting it touch the ground...

Sounds good! We never lose when it comes to ball sports, right, Soi Fon?

You can count on me, Lady Yoruichi!

............

Oh, are you running away, Byakuya?

Running away? I was doing nothing of the sort. I was about to start on some sand sculptures.

I see! Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I assumed you were too scared to play with us.

Very well. I'll make sure you never utter such words again.

I'm on a whole other level today. Burn this image into your brain.

Hehe, not too bad. But how about this?

...Weak.

Ahhh...

Are you okay, Orihime?!

Don't worry, Ichigo. I can ignore the pain if I'm on the court.

O-Okay...

Oh...

Don't push yourself too hard, Orihime.

Sorry... I'm just a little tired. I'll be fine after a short break!

You heard her. Let's call a truce for now.
