Chapter 2: The Shocking Truth!

I-chi-gooo! Man, I've missed you so much!!!

Keigo?! Wait, why are you here?!

Ah, so you weren't aware? Remember when you and Uryu came to this world? He also arrived at the same time.

What?!

He's been living here at the castle ever since. Well, I bet you're glad someone's finally come to take you home.

Dude, you guys are flat out mean! How could you just leave me behind?!

Day after day, I've been helping out with picking medicinal herbs, organizing their library...

...and baking cookies together and chatting over tea!

Sounds like you've been enjoying it, actually.

Do you mind catching up with each other at a later time?

First, I must apologize to you for having to request your aid once again.

Oh, it's no problem. If Keigo's been here the whole time, I would've had to come back to get him eventually.

It's not like I can just take him home now, right? I heard you were in trouble.

So, can you please tell me what's going on?

So, to sum this all up, you need to defeat this Overlord. Is that right?

Yes, but the Overlord is strong. We fought against him once before, and we were no match.

Ever since our last battle, the Overlord has continued his attacks on us without ever leaving his fortress.

In order to enter that fortress, you need to use a certain magical device. Unfortunately, the one we obtained was destroyed.

So our plan is to find another enemy soldier and take their device.

We've been launching attacks on the fortress as a diversion, but we simply lack enough fighting power to make any advances.

If only the diversion could lure out the Overlord. That would make our lives easier. Either way, we still need more help.

That brings us to our next topic. We're going to request the aid of our allies. Ichigo, I want you to come with me.

All right.
