Chapter 3: Protect the People!

So Rukia, could that be the reason you didn't come to school today?

Uh, yes, that's right! If you hadn't come to my rescue, I wouldn't have been able to go to school tomorrow either!

Well, now that you're free, why don't you join us? We're having an afterschool patrol tour with Orihime, the Warrior of Hope. Or you could join us later for the midnight tour...

I told you there's gonna be no such thing! Rukia, you don't have to come if you're tired.

Actually, I'm perfectly fine. I would love to join everyone!

Then off we go! To patrol the...!

*Hollow* *Hollow*

Ichigo...

Uh... Oh, my! How could I be so careless? It seems I've dropped something back when I was being attacked by the strange man!

Oh, no! That's not good! Here, I'll come help you find it!

I'll go too.

Let me...

If you come, everyone else will follow. We'll be fine, so you stay here, Orihime.

Okay... Be careful out there.

You know, you're the worst actor I've ever seen! I bet everyone's suspicious now!

Shut up, idiot! You're one to talk! That was the most awkward excuse for coming with me!

I sure don't wanna hear it from you!

Can we stop talking about this?

*Hissss*

There it is!

All right, let's go!

Now, let's see where they went. Oh, over there. Hey!

*Hollow* *Hollow*

Rooooaaaarrrr!!!

There's another one?! Dammit!

Orihime!

!!!

Everyone, get down!

Huh?!

Santen Kesshun!

Roaaaar...

What? No way... Did this billboard just fall on us?

Is everyone okay?!

............

Tatsuki? Are you hurt?

No, I'm fine. Thank you, Orihime.

But that was really dangerous. You shouldn't have rushed in like that!

I-I'm sorry. It just happened so suddenly, I...

Himeeee! Did you really just protect me?! You'd better not be hurt!

Don't worry. I'm okay.

Thanks to Orihime, our peaceful lives were saved!

Orihime, you never had to pretend to be a hero. You're already everyone's hero.

Ooh! Smooth, Mizuiro!

It kinda kills the sentiment when you comment like that.

Guys...

We'll always be counting on you, Warrior of Hope!

Roger that!

Thank you, everyone.
