Chapter 5: Knight and Hunter

What's wrong? You spoke as if you could overpower me, but your skills show me otherwise.

I'm doing things my way so that you can take your time to remember what an arrow feels like.

Doesn't it remind you of the past?

A little.

No need to hold back. Remind yourself well.

Let that pain be carved into your skin and know that there's more to my power.

This is your end.

A technique that weaves magic into your arrow, huh? Interesting.

I've harnessed this power to take my revenge on you. Accept its full force.

What...was that?

I weaved magic into my own sword that was opposite in nature to yours. I used it to cancel your powers and nullify the attack. That's it.

You cancelled its powers?! How could that even be possible?

It's time you back down, Soi Fon.

I don't know what is it that you wish for, or why you're fighting for the Overlord...

...but I've been tasked as the Grand Knight of Cacao Castle.

I can't be defeated by you just yet. That means no more going easy on you.

You won't...get away with this.

Why? Tell me...

Why?!

Tell me why. Help me understand.

Why didn't you take me with you? I would've gone anywhere with you. You must've known that. Oh, Lady Yoruichi...
