Chapter 1: Tactical Meeting

Alright. Let me lay out the "Capturing Lady Yoruichi's Beauty in a Photograph" plan for you.

...O-Okay.

We cannot fail this time. Is that clear, Kiyone Kotetsu?

Today, we're going to focus on searching trees, gaps between buildings, and high places. All of Lady Yoruichi's favorite spots.

(I know she can turn into a cat, but she's still a human... Is she really hanging out in places like that?)

(Why am I stuck doing this on my precious day off...?)

You want me to help with Jushiro's photoshoot? ...I suppose I can if you'll lend me a hand.

I recently acquired a camera with a high-power long-range lens and was hoping to get a picture of Lady Yoruichi.

Although I'll be able to keep my distance, there's still a high likelihood that Lady Yoruichi will catch me. Your job will be to keep her distracted.

If I'm happy with the results, I can help you apprehend Jushiro, and I'll even lend you my camera.

I'll do anything you ask!

(Even though I only have myself to blame!)

Let's begin by gathering eyewitness information!

O-Okay!

She's not here... Or here...

(Scary! This is just like a horror movie, Captain Soi Fon!)

Why are you crawling around on the ground like that?

I don't have time for your questions.

We're actually looking for Lady Yoruichi.

*Sigh* Lady Yoruichi again?

If you weren't able to find her yesterday or today, maybe she's avoiding you.

Did you say something, Marechiyo?

I'll grant you the privilege of leaving your final words. Go on.

No, um, um...

Oh! Oh! That reminds me! I heard someone say they saw a black cat in the forest!

Come on now, we're not going to fall for such an obvious attempt to distract us.

Why didn't you say so sooner?! The forest! Let's go!

Really?! You bought that?!

W-Wait, Captain Soi Fon!
