Chapter 1: New Responsibilities?

I wonder why we got an emergency summons. I hope it's nothing serious.

It kind of worries me because he said he needed to tell us in person.

Did he mention anything about it to you in advance, Rangiku?

He said he'll tell me once everyone's here.

Hey Captain, we're all here.

Good.

So, I received a report from the Seireitei yesterday.

You're spending way too much on expenses! All of you!

The cost of staying in the world of the living is racking up beyond expectations, so they want us to limit it, effective immediately.

What are you all spending money on?

I don't think I'm spending that much. Did you guys waste money on something?

But we haven't been expensing any...

...Oh, wait! We get our necessities from Urahara's Shop, right?

You mean to say he's ripping us off?

I know it's Kisuke, but I doubt he would go that far.

You requested maintenance on your Soul Pager the other day, didn't you? How much did that cost?

Hmm. It wasn't cheap, that's for sure.

It's hard to tell what the appropriate cost is for items and services you can only get at Urahara's Shop.

We can't really argue even if it does feel a little expensive. Isn't that why it's considered a necessary expense?

If it's something you can buy at another store, get the supplies there. Try to limit your purchases if possible.

Anyway, we're going to take a look at other shops available in town.

We're going window shopping? Woohoo!

We need to e-co-no-mize!!!

There are various shops in this shopping district, so I think it's best we start looking here.

Ooh, look! They're having a make-up sale!

I told you to stop wasting money!

With this many stores to choose from, we can list them up by category and price range to decide which ones to use.

Let's take a quick look through all of them.

Captain! Captaaaiiin!!!

This store is amazing!

They have so many products! And not only are they really cheap, but they're all the same price!

Huh, that's convenient.

Wow, you're right. This is quite a variety of items.

Maybe we'll be able to resolve the issue if we just stick to buying our necessities from here.

This is the greatest place ever! Let's buy a bunch of stuff while we're here!

Hold on just a minute! Why would you even think of buying so much?

Even if each item is cheap, it won't be cost-saving if you end up buying a huge amount of stuff!
