2 scenes, 17 lines
1. Before the battle
11 linesHaving swung deep into the future, we will stop temporarily and turn back to the past.
It was but a blip in time, yet that is precisely why a whirlwind trip far into it was imminent.
What must be known, yet must not be seen, therein lies the truth behind the mask.
A hundred and ten years ago...
By the way, have you heard? There's a prodigy among this year's recruits.
That I have. This young man was able to graduate from the Soul Reaper Academy in only one full year. I admit that's impressive.
I still can't quite believe it. From what I hear, he's just a kid. He's about the same age as Captain Kuchiki's grandson, Byakuya.
Apparently this prodigy has the talent of a man twice his age... I hear an officer's position will be ready for him when he enters the squad.
It looks like we've got ourselves someone with quite a future.
So, who's the lucky squad that got the new recruit?
Well now, from what I've heard, he'll be joining Squad 5.
2. After the battle
6 linesNice. Your skill is even better than I was told.
What is your name again, young warrior?
Gin. I am Gin Ichimaru.
And how did you find our third seat?
Terrible. No competition at all.
Interesting. Glad to hear it.
