Chapter 3

I'm going to excuse myself now.

Going already? You should at least have some tea.

Why are you offering as if this is your own home?

No, it's alright. I need to get back to editing for the Seireitei Bulletin.

We're trying to put together an article on the Karaoke Contest from the other day, but we can't seem to find a good way to tell the story.

Well, that contest was just the Head Captain singing for hours.

The only other thing that happened was Squad 11 getting in trouble for breaking all those buckets.

Yeah.

Let me know if you know of any other exciting topics to write about.

I'm going back to the Soul Society as well. Rangiku, try not to make a bigger mess than what you already made.

You're going back already, Captain?

We're not here on vacation. We still have a lot of work to do.

Oh, I see. Well, good luck!

I'll go back after I relax just a little while longer.

You should be helping me!

I promise I'll go back when I'm done eating these snacks.

*Sigh* Forget it. Do what you want.

Hey, Shuhei.

Do you feel that strange presence?

Presence? Of what?

Huh?! This is...

Oops, it looks like you found me.

Gin!

What are you doing here?

Calm down. Stop making such a scary face at me.

I just came to visit. You don't need to be on guard.

You better be careful with that attitude of yours. What are you plotting to do now?

Depending on how you answer me, I'll kill you right here, right now.

You sure don't change, dear Captain.

I'm sorry, but I don't have time to play with you today.

I may not look like it, but I'm pretty busy.

Excuse me, now.

Wait right there, Gin!

Captain Hitsugaya! We don't know what the enemy's after. It's not wise to chase him right now.

Dammit!

Let's return to the Seireitei and report this.

You're right.

(What could he be planning to do now?)
