Instead of trying to achieve immortality by preventing death, what if we tried infinite resurrection?

That would render all our various avenues of research up to this point meaningless.

And since right now, we can't resurrect anyone while preserving their soul, the whole idea is pointless.

I know all that, of course. That's why this research would only be performed on subjects at the end of their life.

By reusing imitation dolls, we won't need to assign as many people to menial labor...

...which would also have the happy side effect of freeing them up for more useful research.
